When Dr. Kennedy was a small child, her family escaped from Czechoslovakia due to the Russian invasion. They came to America and made Kansas their home. In 1988, she graduated from Kansas State University. Dr. Kennedy and her husband John share their home in mild chaos with two dogs and two cats. Her passions are church, family, and a litter of grandchildren.

Dr. Manley was born in the cornfields of Nebraska. She played soccer for 18 years, all the way through earning her bachelor’s degree in science. After that, she ventured out to Missouri to attend veterinary school and now enjoys being outside as much as possible. Her yellow lab, Rose, loves new toys and takes up most of the bed each night.

Dr. Welch grew up in Blue Springs, and has been with our practice since 2021. She graduated from University of Missouri as a DVM in 2025. After many years with us as an assistant, she is very excited to be living her dream as a veterinarian. She has a passion for surgeries and emergency medicine. Dr. Welch recently married her college sweetheart, and they are currently paw-rents to a goofy dog named Presley and a chunky cat named Oliver. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, playing volleyball, traveling, and relaxing with a book (ideally by the water).
Dr. Gaudette

Dr. Gaudette

Chiropractor

Dr. Gaudette grew up in Massachusetts before moving to Missouri during her teen years. She has worked in veterinary clinics since she was 15 years old, where her passion for animals and healthcare first took root. It was in one of those clinics that Dr. Chelsea was introduced to animal chiropractic—and she knew right away that this was the path she was meant to follow.

After earning her Bachelor of Human Sciences degree from Cleveland University–Kansas City, she completed her Doctor of Chiropractic at Life University in Georgia. She then pursued specialized training in animal chiropractic under the tutelage of Dr. Emily McLeod at Parker University in Texas, where she earned her certification.

When she’s not caring for patients, Dr. Chelsea enjoys spending time with her own animal family—Rufus the dog and PoePoe the cat—as well as her favorite humans: her husband, Dr. Paul (a chiropractor for people), and their son, Marcelles. In her free time, she loves reading, swimming, and watching anime
