Dr. Andrea Kennedy: Veterinarian/Owner

When Dr. Kennedy was a small child her family escaped from Czechoslovakia due to the Russian invasion. They came to America and made Kansas their home. In 1988, she graduated from Kansas State University. Dr. Kennedy and her husband John share their home in mild chaos with 2 dogs and 2 cats. Her passions are church, family, amateur bodybuilding competitions and being a passenger on a Harley.

Dr. Kristin Manley

Dr. Kristin Manley: Veterinarian

Dr. Manley was born in the cornfields of Nebraska. She played soccer for 18 years all the way up to finishing her Bachelor’s degree in science. After that she ventured out to Missouri to go to vet school and loves to be outside as much as possible. Rose her yellow lab loves new toys and likes to take up most of the bed each night.

Tamera Horton

Tamera Horton: Registered Veterinary Technician

Tamera was born and raised in Lawrence, KS. Due to her love for animals she attended and graduated from Maple Woods Veterinary Technician Program in 1988. She's been married for 34 years and has 3 wonderful daughters and a handsome Son-in-Law. Tamera loves spending time with their grand-daughters, Jordyn and Kamryn. Head of her household is her domestic shorthair, Millie.

Stephanie Hein

Stephanie Hein: Registered Veterinary Technician & Practice Manager

She graduated in 2014 from Brown Mackie College. She is married to her hot, hunky, husband Chris. They have 4 awesome kids. Stephanie loves her German Shepherd Callie Star and Pit Mix Bentley. She has an obsession with sharks, hence the photo. She loves being part of our goofy team.

Donna Stewart

Donna Stewart: Receptionist/Assistant

Donna has lived in Kansas all her life. She got into animal rescue in 1998. She is a self-proclaimed cat person who strongly believes in TNR (Trap & Release). When she is not rescuing animals, she enjoys gardening and spending time with her three grandsons.

Lyndsay Porter: Veterinary Assistant

Lyndsay is from Laurie, MO. the heart of the Lake of the Ozarks. After graduation, she moved to Springfield, MO where she worked at the zoo for two years. While she liked her work she decided to shift her focus to veterinary medicine. She, and her super awesome, handsome, husband, Ethan, decided to move to KC where Kennedy’s Animal Clinic quickly hired her. In their free time, these lovebirds love playing outside with their two doggie fur babies.

Rebecca Berry

Rebecca Berry: Groomer

Rebecca Berry is a native of Missouri, lifelong resident of Kansas City; she also attended UMKC. She specialized in poodles and terriers in grooming school and has more than 20 years as a professional groomer and is a member of the National Groomer's Association. Interests include farming, gardening, and collecting antiques. Her favorite pastime is being a couch potato with her cat, Mr. Dickens.

Shelby Donovan: Receptionist/Kennel Technician

Shelby is from Lebanon, Mo. She was in 4H and was a leader in FFA. She rode and showed horses for 6 years. Shelby as well enjoyed showing cows, pigs and horses in her local state fair. Shelby aspires to be a veterinary technician.

Lura K: Veterinary Assistant

Lura has 15 years of veterinary experience. As of now she has 3
dogs, 1 cat, a guinea pig and a fish. Lura has 2 children, needless to say she is very busy. Lura loves what she does and can’t imagine doing anything else. Her favorite quote is “No one can make you feel inferior without your permission”.

Trish grew up in Raytown, Mo. She has always been passionate about animals. Trish has over 30 years of experience caring for seniors. Trish enjoys fostering for MOGS rescue and snuggling with her german shepherd and cockatoo.

Kinisha was born Chicago, IL and moved to Lawrence, KS where she grew up. She started working in the veterinary field at the age of 17 and never stopped. In October 2019 Kinisha started with Kennedy’s Animal Clinic and started her life in Raytown, Mo with her husband, 3 kids, 3 dogs and cat.

Melissa Huskey: Veterinary Assistant

Melissa is from Pendleton, OR. She lived there most of her life. Melissa went to college to earn her associates and vet assistant degree. Her love for animals all started when she was able to get a job at a clinic in Pendleton where she worked for 4 years. She met her fiance who is from KCMO and ended up moving here to start their life together. Melissa got a job with Kennedy’s animal clinic to further study as a registered veterinary technician.

Kayla Lambert

Kayla Lambert: Kennel Technician

Kayla has lived in Raytown her entire life. She started at Kennedy's through an internship her Junior year of high school, during her senior year Kayla was officially hired as a staff member! After Kayla graduates, she is going to the University of Missouri to become a Veterinarian.

Haley has been a Raytown resident her entire life. She is a busy mom of 2 teenage boys along with 4 dogs and 2 cats. She loves all fur babies! Haley has a degree in Computer Networking services. She has worked in the Veterinary field for 3 years. Her hobbies are traveling, movies, and cooking.

Paige graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Wildlife Conservation in 2016 from the University of Central Missouri. She resides in Raytown with her husband, daughter, 2 dogs, and 1 cat. She loves to travel and has been to 11 different countries and counting. She would love to continue scuba diving and eventually become an instructor. Her favorite quote is "Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're going to get."

Kayle Welch

Kayle Welch: Veterinary Assistant

Kayle is from Blue Springs. In 2021 she graduated from Drury University with her Bachelor's in Biochemistry and starts at MU's College of Veterinary Medicine in the fall. She has wanted to be a veterinarian before she was 5 years old and is really excited to be living out her dream.
