What Pet Parents Ask Us Most

How do I book an appointment?

Just give us a call at 816-358-0991! We currently book all appointments by phone so we can make sure you’re scheduled for exactly what your pet needs.

Where are you located?

You’ll find us at 8000 Woodson Rd, Raytown, MO 64138—just look for the building full of wagging tails and friendly faces.

What areas do you serve?

We proudly care for pets in Raytown, Independence, Lee’s Summit, Kansas City, Grain Valley, Oak Grove, Holden, Overland Park, Lenexa, Harrisonville, Pleasant Hill, Blue Springs, Lone Jack, East Lynne, Peculiar, Greenwood, Raintree, and Grandview.

Do you offer grooming and boarding?

We sure do! We offer full-service grooming and cozy, safe overnight stays. You can learn more on our Grooming and Boarding pages.

What kinds of surgeries do you perform?

We provide a full range of surgical services for your pet, from routine procedures to advanced specialty surgeries. Whether your pet needs a standard spay or neuter or something more complex, you can trust that they’re in caring, experienced hands.

In addition to routine surgeries, we offer a variety of soft tissue procedures such as exploratory surgery, bladder stone removal, tumor removal, spleen removal, and salivary or anal gland removal. We also perform cosmetic ear cropping and tail docking, C-sections, and even blood transfusions when needed.

For breeds like Bulldogs, Pugs, and Frenchies, we perform BOAS (Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome) surgery to help improve breathing and quality of life. We also offer Perineal Urethrostomy (PU) procedures for both cats and dogs dealing with urinary issues.

When it comes to orthopedic care, we’re proud to work with Dr. Deluke, a traveling board-certified specialist who performs surgeries right here at our clinic. These include cruciate ligament and fracture repairs.

Do you provide emergency services?

We do offer emergency surgery during business hours. If your pet is experiencing an emergency, call us right away and we’ll advise you on the next best steps.

Can I bring my bulldog or brachycephalic breed?

Absolutely—we have experience working with brachycephalic breeds and offer BOAS surgery and special care for bulldogs and other smoosh-faced sweethearts.

What if my pet needs a rabies vaccine?

All healthy pets must be up to date on their rabies vaccine. If your pet isn’t current, we’ll take care of it during your visit or work with you on a follow-up plan.

Do you accept CareCredit or Scratchpay?

Yes! We accept both CareCredit and Scratchpay, along with most major credit cards and good old-fashioned cash.

Will my pet be seen by the same vet every time?

We do our best to keep things consistent for both pets and people. If you have a preferred vet, just let us know when you book and we’ll do our best to make it happen.
